Our school was responsible for forming OISAA (Ottawa Independent School Athletic Association). Membership in this association gives our students the opportunity to play other private schools, offering additional sports at a slightly more competitive level, through the "Turnbull Tornadoes" team.  We host a number of tournaments at our school (basketball, soccer, badminton, volleyball, rugby) for the three grade divisions (primary, junior, senior).

Each fall Turnbull hosts Grade 3 students from a number of other schools for a fun "Soccer Jamboree" and BBQ lunch.

The senior boys and girls on the teams have opportunities to travel not only to other schools locally, but also to competitions in Montreal.  Track and field competitions also offer a variety of opportunities for our students, including the annual multi-school Pumpkin Run.
