On April 5th, 2008 nine grade 7 & 8 students represented Turnbull School at the Regional Science Fair. They received three Gold medals, one Silver, one Bronze and 2 Honourable Mentions. In addition they received 8 Special Awards from various scientific organizations. Two Turnbull students, out of only five grade 7 & 8 winners selected from across the region, will compete at the Canada Wide Science Fair in Ottawa in early May.
